What is Jamaica’s National Youth Policy?

The National Youth Policy is the document which will “establish the policy framework within which young persons can be supported to pursue their goals, thereby contributing to the success of their local community and the nation at large,” says Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith (according to The Jamaica Information Service). It is a pivotal document that encourages the inclusion of youth in decision-making and nation-building.
