On Monday, July 15, a group of Jamaicans took to the streets of Half Way Tree, St Andrew, in support of the ban on smoking in public places. The ban came into effect that day.
The march was organised by the National Council on Drug Abuse (NCDA), the Heart Foundation of Jamaica, Jamaica Coalition for Tobacco Control and the Jamaica Cancer Society.
