diGJamaica.com has made it really easy to follow changes in the economy. It is the only online frequently updated resource for a range of indicators in Jamaica.
See the tabs at the top right hand side of the home page – economy, business, lifestyle, trade, industries? Each of those is a drop down dashboard. All indicators are updated when Government data is released.
The drop down dashboards show:
- indicator
- period
- date
- current value
- % change in one period
- % change 12 months ago
- % change 24 months ago
Red means that that specific indicator has gotten worse. Green means that specific indicator has gotten better. For each category, the blue words means that if you click on the indicator, it takes you to a chart with more information.
