Reason for entering the competition: “My core values (continuously instilled throughout my upbringing) and increasing capacity to help others – beyond being a medical doctor – have led me down multiple and diverse paths. I believe that the Miss World Organization is a significant platform that provides an opportunity for me to develop my own skills and competencies – via networking, travel and experiential learning – that will undoubtedly enhance my potential to positively impact the lives of others. Indeed, the mission of the Miss World Organization resonates with my goals and aspirations; and I will humbly accept the honor to make a small contribution to an organization that promotes ‘Beauty with a Purpose.'”

Reason for entering the competition: “I entered the Miss Jamaica world pageant as it affirms ‘Beauty with a Purpose’. It is beyond a beauty pageant but a platform upon which a young woman can stand confident in her own skin and with beauty of spirit, make an impact upon the world through her passions. As Miss Jamaica World 2015, I hope to break down the stereotype of beauty and inspire young Jamaicans to dare to reach for their brightest dreams regardless of hair texture, skin color and social background. I also want to demonstrate to the world that to be Jamaican is to be vibrant, resilient, creative and capable of great things.”

“To further my mission of being a ‘Beauty with a Purpose’. I want to impact people of every continent especially children with cancer.
