The road to Ambassabeth is one that transports its’ visitors to old time Jamaican hospitality coupled with a close communion with nature. Located in the upper Rio Grande Valley about 15 miles south of Port Antonio, the Ambassabeth Cabins are owned and operated by the Bowden Pen Farmers Association (BPFA). The Blue Mountain ridge decorates the background and nature fills every space.
In a time and place where nature and history stands still, the cabins offer a perfect blend of old and new, tradition and modernity. Ambassabeth cabins accommodate up to 25 persons in 9 eco-friendly cabins, comfortably furnished, with space for dining, meetings/lectures, games or leisure.
The facility is pre-fitted with solar lights, a solar water heater, potable toilets and water gravity fed from one of the community’s sparkling springs. Visitors get a taste of traditional life with a modern twist. The cabins offer both one day and overnight accommodation with an emphasis on enjoying and learning about the beauty that is Jamaica.

Learn: Embark on field trips to learn about the flora and fauna of the area, traditional harvesting of crayfish or janga and how to cook traditional food.
Live: You have not lived until you go river bathing, trail hiking and on visits to observe traditional farming methods.
Love: Love the horse back riding, the community nights, story telling and cultural presentations.
Just around the corner is the amazing Cunha Cunha Pass Trail, the oldest trail in the island and once the bastion for the Windward Maroons.
