Today is International Youth Day; a special day in which the whole world celebrates young people and all the elements that young people are involved in. Aimed towards highlighting and promoting the various knowledge, skills, values and motivation behind young people and their participation in community development and nation building, International youth Day even has it’s own hashtag (#YOUTHDAY) and online campaign. The campaign gives young people an opportunity to share ideas, events, stories and even activities that have improved the quality of life for everyone around them. It’s all about celebrating youth and the good they do.
We have to ‘big up’ the youths and let them know that they have a voice and influence. diGJamaica is celebrating #YOUTHDAY by sharing some youth geared organisations that make a BIG difference in Jamaica and in the lives of young people.
