Image Of The Week – Seaforth’s Artistic Excellence

Our image of the week comes from the Wednesday Gleaner story entitled Creative Genius! Seaforth High Has The Artistic Secret.

The 42-year-old school has developed an outstanding track record in visual and fine arts, winning more than 100 awards and dominating the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission and Institute of Jamaica National Exhibition for Arts and Crafts in Schools annual competitions. The school also received the 2010 Prime Minister’s Youth Award for Excellence in Arts and Culture. Additionally, Seaforth was the top performing regional high school in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations two years in a row.
