Drug treatment services offered by government-operated institutions and hospitals.

 

COMMUNITY INSTITUTIONS

Services in this group are offered by privately run treatment centres and may attract fees and have terms and conditions for admission. Some of these institutions provide accomodation for the patient.

 

NATIONAL COUNCIL ON DRUG ABUSE (NCDA) COMMUNITY CLINICS FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSERS, HIV POSITIVE INDIVIDUALS, PERSONS WITH TRAUMA AND THEIR FAMILIES

These clinics are operated by the National Council on Drug Abuse, a government agency. They offer counselling and other non-residential services.

 

NGO OPERATED FACILITIES

These facilities are operated and funded primarily by non-government organisations. The clinics in this group offer a range of services including counselling amd drug testing, some fo which attract a fee. Residential treatment facilities are also included.

 

NATIONAL COUNCIL ON DRUG ABUSE (NCDA) OUTREACH CENTRES

These are contact points across the island for the National Council on Drug Abuse, a government agency. Persons seeking help for themselves or their loved ones can contact these outreach centres.
