The Jamaica Cycling Federation is the governing body of cycling on the island.  The Federation oversees the National Cycling team, and the promotion and development of the sport locally.  Internationally, the Cycling Confederation is a member of the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI) and the International Cycling Union (UCI).

The national cycling team competes both regionally and internationally, with their main event being the annual Caribbean Cycling Championships (CCC).

The cycling community also has a more relaxed contingent.  A large part of what the Cycling Federation does is oversee smaller independent groups of cyclists focused more on the exercise benefits and camaraderie of their sport.
