March is celebrated as Spiritual Wellness Month. It is a time to reflect on the values, ethics and morals that add value and give meaning to your life. Here at diGJamaica, we’re going on a quest for 30 days of inspiration: extracting the common principles from different religions and systems of belief that help their followers to find inner peace, purpose and direction. Each day for the month of March, we will be sharing another principle with you. Join us as we embark on this journey to spiritual wellness.
What we’ve covered so far:
Don’t budge. It means do not move. It means be unshakeable. Be firm. Be resilient. Be solid. Stay fixed and focused. Do not allow anything or anyone to cause you to doubt yourself or your abilities or that good things will happen to you in life.
That’s our inspiration for today: Budge not. No matter what life throws at you, no matter how grim it gets, no matter how terrible you feel or how dark everything seems. Budge not. Let your resolve remain unmoved. Let your hope stand undaunted. Let fear find no place in you. Budge not!
Who are we talking to? Parents. Teachers. Students. Working men and women. This is for anyone who is working toward a larger goal in their life, and who sometimes feels like throwing in the towel. This is for you. Budge not. Refuse to be intimidated. Refuse to be discouraged. Refuse to be timid. Refuse to dissuaded. Stand your ground. Hold firm. BUDGE NOT!
