30 Days of Inspiration (#4: Exercise)

March is celebrated as Spiritual Wellness Month. It is a time to reflect on the values, ethics and morals that add value and give meaning to your life. Here at diGJamaica, we’re going on a quest for 30 days of inspiration: extracting the common principles from different religions and systems of belief that help their followers to find inner peace, purpose and direction. Each day for the month of March, we will be sharing another principle with you. Join us as we embark on this journey to spiritual wellness.

Exercise

A huge part of spiritual wellness is how well you take care of your body. Defined as ‘activity requiring physical effort, carried out to sustain or improve health and fitness’, exercise is the tonic that keeps your body going. Exercise benefits pretty much every aspect of your life: how well you sleep, how much energy you have, what kind of thoughts you have, and even how well you remember things. Exercise is a key ingredient to a healthy, balanced life. Here are some of the benefits:
