The report on the work and findings of the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry has been released.

At several hundred pages, the report is an extensive but worthwhile read as it investigates the lead up to the events of May 2010 in Tivoli Gardens, the operation itself, and its aftermath. Most importantly the report makes a number of significant recommendations for moving forward, including compensating victims, offering an official apology, and a suggestion against certain members of the security forces being allowed to lead such operations in the future.

From the Ministry of Justice’s website, full text can be seen here.
