Crafty In Kingston

We’re getting ‘crafty’ this Travel Tuesday with a stop at the Kingston Craft Market, located downtown, right on the waterfront.

The facility, also known as the Victoria Craft Market, is being refurbished by the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), but it is open to the public. Upgrades include a new-look seating area, where visitors can rest or have lunch and a new roof.

The stalls at the craft market overflow with beautiful souvenirs, jewellery, gift items and clothing, including t-shirts sporting catchy Jamaican phrases and sayings. Most of the items are hand-made, including carvings, artwork and baskets.

The next time you’re downtown, feel free to stop by and support any of the shops at the craft market.
